Consider a Glamorous, High Paying Career--As a Librarian!!

Certain ads keep surfacing on my Facebook-- ads telling me how I can publish my book and achieve my dreams and about weird tips for wrinkles and getting rid of belly fat. I’m always a little worried about how much these advertisers seem to know about me.
This ad has been showing up, lately, too. Does anyone else think this is funny? It’s not that I don’t think librarians are glamorous, but…

Considering the way the economy is affecting the profession, it's kind of cruelly ironic. :) Though I do kind of like that sexy librarian advertisement... :)

We must be targeted for the same sort of ads on Facebook. I see the Wrinkle one frequently too. As a librarian, I am wondering where the glamorous, high paying positions are. I have apparently been doing something wrong for the past 35 years. Schools and glamor is not really a natural pairing nor is schools and high paying. I guess I should keep looking.

At least it's not cliche, right? : )

I agree--at least it's not a stereotype.
I tend to think of librarians as rowdy and intellectually curious.

Hmmm. I haven't got that one yet. Maybe they know I already have my degree & work in a library? I wonder how they got my pic for that ad though. LOL
